Human Ecology Review

Amy received her Ph.D. in sociology from Case Western Reserve University in May 2004. Her research areas include sociology of aging and the life course, medical sociology, and quantitative methods. Her dissertation is entitled: “What Are People Doing to Prepare for Retirement? Structural, Personal, Work, and Family Predictors of Planning.”

Amy is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow on Dr. Dietz's grant, which examines people's climate change policy preferences. The project utilizes both mail and web survey modalities. Half of respondents will complete a survey, and the other half will participate in a group deliberation to examine potential effects of deliberation.
